3 Ways To Find Your Purpose

Recently, we have reached a point of needing to re-evaluate our lives and try to re-determine what is important to us. As we have done this, we realized there are 3 areas we can look in to find our purpose…

Starting A Hobby

[This post contains ads] One of the very first things that we are going to suggest is that you take up a new hobby. This could be anything from a sport, to knitting, or even scrapbooking. Something creative or something active. It doesn’t matter what it is as long as you enjoy it. For me, it is writing and yoga (I love to use yogadownload.com) and for my husband, it is gym time and his Dragonball episodes. When we are doing something we love to do, we tend to be much nicer people to be around.

Taking up a new hobby is always a great way to meet new people and make friends. You might find that some of the best friends you will ever have come from a new hobby that you never thought you would take up.

Getting Back To Church

During this time of re-connecting with our purpose, we realized we had allowed our church fellowship to dwindle to almost never going. That wasn’t who we used to be, so we started making a huge effort to get back into it again. You can find small groups online who will support you in your journey to faith, or you could head straight to your place of worship and find your guidance there.

Remember that your journey is your own. As such, always stay true to the things you believe, and never lose sight of who you are while you are on this journey.

Giving Back To Others

Finally, if you are looking for something a little bit more than a new hobby, then you might want to think about volunteering with the people who need help. A soup kitchen, a homeless shelter or anywhere like this is always looking for people with kind hearts to help them out. Your help is always going to be appreciated in places that run on charity and volunteers.

Perhaps you might want to look into fostering children. There are plenty of children in the system right now who need someone loving and caring to look after them for a while. If you can provide a stable home for them in this time of uncertainty, you are going to be a big help.
